The Biezenhof in Waterrijk (Woerden) is a new residential neighbourhood that is located on the borders of the Breeveld natural pond. The different housing units in the project are grouped around a green living courtyard with quite some recreational options all around. DUCO supplied both ventilation and solar shading systems to a few of the apartments. The significant advantage is that both are integrated in one and the same product: the DucoTwin 120 "ZR". The aluminium grille was installed behind the external cavity skin invisibly. The integrated solar shading fabric that stops the heat from the rays of the sun before they hit the glass can, moreover, be easily removed from the inside.
