This brand new market hall was built right in the centre of the French Arcachon near Bordeaux. The design is based on 19th century Parisian halls.

The natural illumination angle was mainly considered when designing the building. The market hall bathes in natural sunlight, but does not have a free rein inside so that a conservatory effect is not created. Thanks to the Duco structural solar shading system in the form of the aesthetic DucoSlide Linear 55 sliding panels, solar heat is kept outside, but sufficient sunlight still penetrates the building.
The hall, moreover, can be ventilated naturally by opening the roof domes.
